Ok, here are a few pictures of quilting projects I'm working on/have finished.
This is a wall hanging. It measures 2'x 3' and still needs to be bound. Eventually I'll put up a pattern a cut list that uses eight fat quarters to make two of them, so people can copy the design. But not yet. And yes, those are my feet :-)
This is the begginings of a quilt using the ever-cool cardtrick block. This is my favorite block pattern I've ever seen (so far) so I'm using it to make my first block-constructed quilt. I think it's going to be a dorm-bed sized quilt for a friend at my college.
I have a group of female friends who I am very close with. We reffer to ourselves as the sisterhood of the scorpian bowl because of our monthly tuesday night rituals of getting chineese food and the decptively toxic drink. These girls mean the world to me so I decided to make us all patchwork pillows out of coordinating fabrics. Each of us is represented by a color. asciikitty is the blue fabric, buxom_bey is the earthy toned print, ricevermicelli is the red fabric, supercheesegirl is the yellow fabric, tisana is the green/gold patterned fabric, and I am the purple fabric.
So that's what I have right now! I hope to get more done and post things as they happen, and maybe even make this website look a little better, but function over form for now!
